AWCS

We are proud to announce our partnership with Animal Welfare and Care Services (AWCS), a registered NGO in Amritsar, India and founded by Dr Navneet Kaur, based in Canada. AWCS rescues and treats all stray animals in the city, while also advocating for animal rights. Their team seeks to raise awareness within the community about animal cruelty and increase positive beliefs of animal welfare.

The primary activity of AWCS is to provide free treatment to injured and sick stray animals. Now they are gearing up to extend their services to assist low income livestock farmers by providing veterinary assistance for their dairy cows and cattle. AWCS also has an outdoor mobile clinic unit which provides free treatment in the field for 10+ dogs every day and save  dogs that are unable to survive on the streets to their current animal shelter.

Please support AWCS as they embark upon building the first modern animal hospital in Punjab, India. The first of its kind in the region, equipped to treat animals in need, from the smallest pup, to the largest cow or buffalo belonging to livestock farmers.
