Max (Manhattan ACC #A1098768), a four-year-old pit bull terrier mix was give up by his owner because of family allergies. This sweet, shy boy was put on the “at-risk” list as he contracted kennel cough in the shelter. A New Hope rescue stepped up and found him a wonderful family with two and other four-legged siblings. The Joey and Oreo Fund helped Max’s forever family with the adoption expenses. Max, the cuddle bug, brightens his family’s life every day.
