The Joey and Oreo HEAL Fund helped with Rhea’s (previously Valentina rescued from AHS-Newark Branch) transporting and fostering. This gorgeous girl was found tied to a bench in Newark on a freezing Valentine’s Day, the day of love, with horrific injuries. She spent a month in medical at the AHS Newark. Valentina was an awesome collaborative rescue effort, with a rescue pulling her, Humane Society of Westchester at New Rochelle dog and cat testing her and Village Animal Hospital in Larchmont taking care of her severely injured ear and overall well-being. Her dad is absolutely in love with his new girl Valentina now renamed Rhea (Ray-a), after the Greek goddess.
