Willow a.k.a. Blanca (Brooklyn ACC#30687) Hits the Jackpot

Adorable little marshmallowy meatball Blanca (#boroughbred30687) was at risk at the Brooklyn Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) due to medical conditions i.e., orthopedic issues that require continued care. We stepped up to save Blanca, when ACC staff reached out for help for this “staff fave”, and overfull conditions at the shelter due to slow summer adoption months.

We don’t have much information on this sweet pup’s past except that she came in as a stray with deep, infected lacerations on her face, a wound on her leg, and injuries on her hind limbs. We’re so happy to report that Blanca now renamed Willow has healed well!! She has truly hit the jackpot with her hoomans and doggie foster bro Grey, who’s thrilled (and exhausted!) to have a playmate! Despite her sad, abusive past, Willow loves to give kisses, topples over for belly rubs, and embarks on celebratory zoomies fueled by happiness. Happy life sweet girl!
